On April 2nd Mackenzie Horan ’11, a full-time lifestyle blogger (mackenziehoran.com) and online boutique owner (designdarling.com), shared a day in her {adorable} shoes with us. If you missed you can read through her archived day!
Mackenzie graduated from Bucknell in 2011 with a B.A. in French language and literature. Her experience working in Bucknell’s Alumni Relations department (as a Bucknell Professional Network Student Leader for the Media & Technology group) had brought her into contact with many successful alumni and entrepreneurial types who inspired her post-grad career path. Building on the platform of her blog Design Darling, which she began writing as a junior at Bucknell, she launched an online boutique selling accessories and decor. She loves being her own boss, collaborating with fellow small business owners, and hearing from happy customers who have incorporated her products into their homes! Her business is in its early stages so it’s a great weekend when she’s able to escape into New York to catch up with dear friends from her four years at Bucknell.
