Families USA’s Villers Fellowship for Health Care Justice
The Villers Fellowship was created in 2005 by Philippe Villers, Families USA’s founder and president. The Villers Fellow will work in our health policy department, supporting the organization’s efforts to improve access to health coverage for all Americans, especially for low-income and other vulnerable constituencies. The Washington Media Scholars Foundation creates scholarship, learning and career advancement opportunities for college students interested in public policy media strategy, research and management. Congrats to the 2012 Capitol Hill Internship Fund Recipients!
7 students are the lucky (after a lot of hard work) recipients of a stipend this summer to help them gain experience on The Hill provided through the Capitol Hill Internship Fund. The Capitol Hill Internship Program was established in 2005 to provide internship opportunities in Washington, DC or local Congressional districts for students who are interested in learning more about the Legislative Branch. This program provides a stipend of $300 per week up to a maximum of $3,000 for the summer for students who are able to secure an unpaid, non-credit internship.
