When I was in graduate school I had to do a mock interview in front of my entire class. Then the class, as well as my Professor (who had 7 Masters and 2 Ph.D’s –no joke!) critiqued me. As horrifying as this sounds, it was every bit! But it was also amazingly helpful. I think I owe all the jobs I’ve gotten due to that class. I know what you are probably thinking…You’ve been here for more than 1 night at this point so why now? Well First Night is a celebration for each first-year class to mark the successful completion of their first semester and the beginning of their life-long journey as Bucknellians. In preparation for the event, each first-year class selects class colors and a motto and designs a class crest incorporating these symbols. In addition, each residence hall floor decorates two pages with photos, drawings, and quotes to reflect their first semester at Bucknell.
