The BardMAT Program is a graduate teacher education program leading to a master’s degree and teacher certification (grades 7-12). The Program combines graduate coursework in the subject area with graduate coursework in education and teaching placements in area public schools.
Teaching in independent and private (K-12) schools can be an option for all students to consider. Kelley Nicholson-Flynn ’91, who majored in Biology, share her experiences and advice with students.

I’d say that one of the only downsides to this job is learning about all the awesome opportunities out there that I am no longer eligible for.
