Our career center has been awarded the Gold level of certification from OUT for Work. What does that mean? Students who want to explore careers in the non-profit and public service sectors have a great resource right here on campus: the Bucknell Public Interest Program (BPIP) and the BPIP Internship Fund.  BPIP educates students about non-profit and public interest careers and helps students learn about organizations in the public interest sector that may offer both full-time jobs and summer internships.  The BPIP Internship Fund provides financial support for undergraduate students (first-year students, sophomores, and juniors), who have secured full-time, unpaid summer internships with non-profit organization and government offices. McKenna Summer Environmental Internships

Student applications are encouraged for Katherine Mabis McKenna Environmental Internships for the summer of 2011. Interns receive a $3000 stipend and may arrange a free residence hall room during the summer participation period. Successful applicants will be expected to engage in an independent research project of approximately 10 weeks duration under the sponsorship of a faculty member. Students must still be enrolled at Bucknell; graduating seniors are not eligible unless they have committed to attending graduate school at Bucknell.
