LinkedIn is the premier professional networking tool and a great place to network and be seen by employers. With the career fairs coming, this is a great time to learn how to find potential networking connections and the etiquette expected when reaching out to potential employers. Join us for one or both parts of this series and learn some key networking strategies prior to Employer Expo on 9/19!

  • September 7, Noon, ACWS 112: LinkedIn 1.0 – Create Your Online Profile. Part 1 will introduce students to LinkedIn and the features available to assist them in networking and job searching. We will cover the basics of setting-up a profile and what information should be included. RSVP on the Bridge: September 5th
  • September 11, Noon, ELC Walls Lounge: LinkedIn 2.0-Effectively Increase Your Professional NetworkPart 2 will teach students how to effectively build their LinkedIn network and optimize their presence on LinkedIn in order to gain professional exposure to the industry that interests them.  RSVP on the Bridge: September 8th.

Don’t forget to bring your laptops so you can work on your profile during the session(s). Lunch provided at both sessions.
