On this field trip (4/22) you will: visit a law firm, hear from a NYU Admissions rep, hear from an alumni panel on changes within law, and network with alumni lawyers all in one day! Sign up on the BRIDGE by 4/17. This field trip will be all day on Monday, April 22nd.
Here’s the itinerary:
- 8:30: Leave campus from the football stadium parking lot
- 12:00: Arrive at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP – this is where George Tsougarakis ’83 and I know by then you will all have made great impressions at the 4/12 Pre-Law Panel and Lunch that I know you will be attending (sign up by today 4/10!)
- 12:30-3:30: Lunch and Learn
- Speakers will include current law students, partners, NYU Admission Representative and non-lawyer staff
- By 4:00 we will leave Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP on bus and head over to Weil, Gotshal & Manges, which is on 5th Avenue so (depending on travel time) you may get some free time to browse 5th.
- 6:00-9:30: We will all attend the “Practicing Law in the 21st Century: Changes, Challenges, and Opportunity” Panel and Networking Reception for Bucknellians
- After the panel (around 9:45) we’ll head back to campus
