5th Annual Pre-Law Luncheon & Panel

Interested in a career in law?  Then come to this lunch and panel discussion on Friday, April 12 at Noon in the ELC Center Room; sign up on the BRIDGE by 4/10. This year’s panel focuses on different topics affecting Business law — from taxation to real estate issues, to advertising issues, to litigation.

Let’s breakdown some benefits of coming —

1. Maybe you are thinking about law school or being a lawyer but you just aren’t sure what you can DO after. This is a chance to hear from 4 people in the “law profession” tell you about their individual career paths! It may seem more like a long and winding road (remember I’m a Beatles fan) but at least you can gain some sort of direction first hand. Knowing where North is, is half the battle when you are lost.

2. You have the chance to ask someone who has already done what you are thinking of doing! That is priceless. You know how they say hindsight is 20/20? You can ask these professionals what they would do differently and then do that! Amazing opportunity. It’s almost, almost as good as a crystal ball and infinitely better than asking your magic eight ball (does those exist anymore?).

3. George Tsougarakis ’83 helps do the hiring at his firm. Period. And offering a field trip to his firm. Period (for reals this time).

4. Need we say more? Fine: FREE LUNCH!
