Dell Thurmond Woodard Fellowship

The Dell Thurmond Woodard Fellowship, which includes one $5,000 grant for one student each year, is part of the Tisdale Fellowship program, a summer internship available to undergraduate and graduate students.  Any student, undergraduate or graduate, who is interested in diversity and ethics issues, and in learning about high-tech public policy issues, can apply for this Fellowship. First Night

I know what you are probably thinking…You’ve been here for more than 1 night at this point so why now? Well First Night is a celebration for each first-year class to mark the successful completion of their first semester and the beginning of their life-long journey as Bucknellians. In preparation for the event, each first-year class selects class colors and a motto and designs a class crest incorporating these symbols. McKenna Summer Environmental Internships

Student applications are encouraged for Katherine Mabis McKenna Environmental Internships for the summer of 2011. Interns receive a $3000 stipend and may arrange a free residence hall room during the summer participation period. Successful applicants will be expected to engage in an independent research project of approximately 10 weeks duration under the sponsorship of a faculty member. Students must still be enrolled at Bucknell; graduating seniors are not eligible unless they have committed to attending graduate school at Bucknell.
