Allegheny National Forest consists of 513,000 acres located in the rugged plateau country in the northwestern corner of Pennsylvania. Many creeks and streams cut deeply into the plateau, creating a rolling and sometimes steep topography ranging from 1,046 feet to 2,263 feet above sea level. Good News on the Job Outlook: Hiring Up 5.3 Percent for Class of 2010

National Association of Colleges and Employers‘ (NACE) Job Outlook 2010 Spring Update report shows employers plan to hire 5.3 percent more new college graduates in 2009-10 than they did in 2008-09. That’s the first positive news since October 2008—when employers projected a 1.3 percent increase in college hiring. That projection fell in the fall of 2008, when the stock market and economy plummeted. College hiring has been in negative territory ever since, hitting bottom in the Job Outlook 2009 Spring Update, when employers reported hiring nearly 22 percent fewer graduates than they did in 2008. Friday April 16th there will be a test run for a new off campus recycling program that will be likely added next year. This program consists of student groups and volunteers manning a trailer behind the Bull Run where students can sort/drop off all their recycling.
