National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) Internship

We just got an amazing internship listing from an alumnus!

Note that this is for SUMMER 2020 – top secret security clearance is needed, so recruiting is starting now as it may take up to 1 year to get cleared.

Open to Sophomores and First  Years.
Deadline is December 30th, resumes only,  apply on the Bridge

Additional Details:

We are now collecting resumes for the 2020 NGIC Student Internship (StudINT)  Program. We will have six intern positions and many interested candidates. If you know of any students would like to apply, please share this information with them.

The exact scope of the positions is yet to be been determined, but the interns will serve in a developmental Intelligence Specialist role working alongside a team of fellow scientists, engineers, and analysts to support NGIC’s primary mission–to produce and disseminate scientific and technical intelligence and military capabilities analysis on foreign ground forces. By doing so, they’ll be supporting warfighting commanders, force-modernization and research and development communities, the Department of Defense, and national policymakers to ensure that our U.S. forces maintain a decisive edge in current and future military operations.

A couple of criteria:

  1. Applicants must be full-time students to serve as interns, so unless they are continuing their education full time after graduation, they must be first- or second-year students to apply.
  2. Applicants must be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Clearance. This process can take up to a year.
  3. Phase two will involve a writing assignment. If you are selected you will be provided a writing prompt in January, and submissions will be due by February 1st  2019.
