Real Estate & Silicon Valley Field Trips through College of Management for ALL MAJORS

The Freeman College of Management is offering 2 field trips open to all campus and majors. Get details and sign up on the Bridge.

  1. Real Estate Field Trip to Baltimore, MD on Nov 2 – SIGN UP BY Oct 24
    Bucknell alumnus, and Continental Realty Corporation (CRC) CEO, J.M. Schapiro are pleased to bring students this Real Estate Field Trip Experience. Students will travel to Baltimore, MD and spend the day with CRC President Gene Parker and members of his team.  Students will receive an overview of the industry, learning about the paths, opportunities and challenges and then learn about their individual style and traits through a personal assessment that will allow students to think about careers in real estate. After lunch, students will be taken on a tour of a multi-family apartment complex and rental commercial retail space to learn about the valuations, operations and intricacies of having these units under management.  Register on the Bridge AND complete this form.
  2. Spring Break Excursion to Silicon Valley, CA – APPLY BY NOVEMBER 9
    OPEN TO ALL MAJORS AND CLASS YEARS, Applications Due November 9 on the Bridge, the trip will take place March 9-16, 2019
    Freeman College of Management is offering a Silicon Valley/Bay Area spring break experience for students interested in data analytics, technology and innovation. The goal is to provide students from all majors and class years an opportunity to learn about organizations and from professionals who work in these areas, particularly those who surround themselves with data to make business decisions.
    During the day, the students will visit with alumni and employers and participate in a number of cultural and networking events in the evenings. Employers include: Google, Livongo, Apple, Facebook, Stitch Fix, Lyft, and others to be confirmed.

    Students will be notified by November 16 if they are selected to participate. Cost is $1,200 per student with financial aid available. Departure and return from campus. Fee includes transportation, lodging, some entertainment events and meals. Payment is due November 30
