Actuarial Profession Info Session with Evan Palumbo ’12

Interested in becoming an actuary? Unsure about studying for those exams? Not sure what an actuary is but looking to learn about a real world application of math and analytics? Join us Wednesday April 18th from 5:00-6:30PM in Olin 255 for a casual discussion with Evan Palumbo ’12.

After taking his first actuarial exam as a Bucknell senior, Evan is now a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He’s spent his career so far working at a reinsurance company in New Jersey where he has worked on in the actuarial department on pricing, reserving, corporate planning, and enterprise risk management. He has been a practicing actuary for six years now and currently holds the position of Vice President & Actuary. Evan is also the CAS University Liaison to Bucknell where he graduated from in 2012 with a BS in Mathematics and a BA in Physics.
