Coffee Talks with Holly Heckathorne ’84

Holly Heckathorne ’84 is a Senior Marketing Executive with almost 15 years experience leading the design and development of new products and loyalty platforms with several Fortune 100 companies. She is a seasoned attorney who previously worked for nearly 10 years with the world’s largest trade association. She is a results-oriented professional who has consistently demonstrated exceptional skill in developing strategic direction and moving organizations through change management to achieve desired objectives. Holly uniquely combines legal and business skills with entrepreneurial spirit to quickly deliver results.

Holly will be on-campus Thursday, October 20th for two coffee talk walk-in sessions on different topics related to her expertise:

  1. Art Entrepreneurship Conversation: 2 – 3 pm, ELC Arches Lounge
    • Join Holly Heckathorne ’84, Professor Barry Long and Career Development Center staff to talk about art entrepreneurship. While at Bucknell, Holly was an Accounting major and Art History minor. Come and hear how her Bucknell education prepared her for a successful career and helped her develop her entrepreneurial spirit.
    • Specialties: Marketing, loyalty/rewards platform design and development (engine, websites, call center, fulfillment, reporting), new card product design and development, brand management, contract negotiations, RFP development and analysis, project management, loyalty/rewards financial planning and management, and public speaking.
  2. Law & Real Estate: 3 – 4 pm, ELC Arches Lounge
    • Join Holly Heckathorne ’84, who is currently the principal in a marketing consulting firm, with a background in both real estate law and marketing, for an informal discussion. As an attorney, Ms. Heckathorne has worked with the National Association of Realtors, the largest trade association in the world. Ms. Heckathorne will be available to discuss any questions you have concerning law school, legal careers, or pursuing a career outside of law with a JD.
    • National Association of Realtors (NAR), “The Voice for Real Estate,” is the largest trade organization in the United States. NAR has more than 1 million members (as of May 2011) involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries.

Stop in any time 10/20 between 2 – 4 to ELC Arches Lounge to meet with and talk to Holly on these topics and enjoy coffee, tea and snacks. And bring your questions!

If you have other questions related to Holly’s expertise or can’t make the times above you can stop by the CDC (2nd Fl) from 10:30-11:30 for open drop in hours with her.
