1 Accenture Consulting Analyst – Deadline October 8th

2 UBS  Wealth Management Summer Internship Program – Deadline October 7th

This week, I chose to talk about why you should apply to Accenture’s Consulting Analyst for your first entry-level job! Accenture offers the chance to start a dynamic career with a global consulting organization at the forefront of business, technology, and innovation. Even from the first day on the job, you will be exposed to technology, marketing, and business expertise that will follow you throughout the rest of your career. You can choose from a variety of focuses such as Accenture Strategy, Accenture Consulting, Accenture Digital, Accenture Technology, and Accenture Operations. You could be responsible for translating the strategic direction and business objectives established by clients into holistic digital, technology, change management and organization strategies, diagnosing business processes or organizational problems, and leveraging analytics to determine how our clients can seize new opportunities, driving a rigorous approach to solving problems in the context of global, economic, technology and social trends, developing innovative answers to complex business and IT challenges, modernizing and driving costs from complex multi-national IT infrastructures, or even recommending and implementing changes, and ensuring a successful transition to what’s new. As you can see, you will always be busy with something interesting to do! On a side note for those of you interested in eventually transferring abroad, Accenture operates in more than 120 countries and has a global, diverse network at your fingertips. If this appeals to you, apply through the Bridge by Thursday, October 8th!

For you current juniors, UBS is offering a Wealth Management Summer Internship Program! During this 10-week internship, students are placed within a specific area of the wealth management business based upon education, prior work experience, and interests. You will have the opportunity to gain work experience among top industry professionals on strategic projects that have an impact on our business. Weekly presentations by WMA executive leadership will build your understanding of our industry, culture, and strategy, in addition to providing insight on launching your career. Networking and social events will help you get to know your peers and establish a network of business contacts and mentors, which is highly valuable during your junior year! You could even have with a job offer at the termination of the program if you truly apply yourself! If this sounds like the fit for you (and you see yourself in either New York City or Weehawken, New Jersey), do not forget to apply on the Bridge by Wednesday, October 7th!
