Examine how one company incorporates organics waste recycling and closes the loop. Learn how the founder, Blake Sturcke ’93 started this company and grew it to success. Also, get some tips on getting into a sustainable career.

Blake Sturcke, founder and Executive Vice President of Turning Earth is coming to campus. Come to his presentation on Wednesday, April 1st in Walls Lounge from 5:30 to 6:30 pm to see how one company incorporates organic waste recycling  and closes the loop. Learn how the founder, Black Sturcke ‘93  started this leading clean energy company within the organics recycling and waste to energy sector. Prior to Turning Earth, Blake worked for leading global investment banks as a capital markets and corporate finance banker to high growth companies in the U.S., Asia and Latin America. Blake also represents the organics recycling industry on the Steer Committee of Connecticut’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Solid Waste Management Advisory Committee. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of 118 Capital, a New York-based impact investing organization catalyzing economic, social and environmental impact in the Americas.

Blake has guest lectured and spoken on many topics including clean energy, financing green technologies, entrepreneurship, corporate development, sustainable management, and corporate finance at a number of academic institutions including Bucknell, Columbia and Villanova as well as at industry forums and conferences.
