Capitol Hill Internship Program

The Capitol Hill Internship Program is a competitive summer internship program that provides a stipend of $300 per week up to $3,000 for students able to secure a Capitol Hill internship provided the internship is unpaid and not for academic credit.  The application process is competitive and the application deadline is Monday, December 8, at 11:59 pm, on the BRIDGE.

Application requirements and details about the Program will be provided at the information session:

  • Oct 6: 5:00 – 6:00pm,  ELC 217
  • Oct 27: Noon – 1:00pm, ACWS 113
  • Nov 19: 5:00 – 6:00pm, ELC 217

Information Sessions with McAllister & Quinn (the government relations firm in DC that will work with accepted candidates to help them find internships on the Hill or in District offices – placement not guaranteed)

  • Nov 6: 10:00 – 11:00am, ELC 217
  • Nov 6: Noon – 1:00pm, ELC 217

Please Note: Prior Capitol Hill interns may not reapply to the program; however, students who have applied in the past to the Capitol Hill Internship Program but not been accepted into the program, may reapply.
