2 Bucknell Events with Pittsburgh Club and Bucknell Engineering Network

If you are in or around Pittsburgh on August 22nd you might want to check out one (or both) of these great events held by Bucknell Engineering Network and Bucknell Club of Pittsburgh:

  1. Westinghouse Hot Cell Nuclear Laboratory Tour: August 22, 1 – 3 pm
    The Westinghouse Materials Center of Excellence Laboratory Services will host a tour of its Hot Cell Facility that has 35+ years experience in handling and evaluating activated and contaminated materials. The cost is $5 per person and space is limited to the first 30. Please RSVP by Tuesday, August 6th.
  2. Pittsburgh & Our Energy Future: August 22, 5:30 – 8:30 pm
    This will be a networking event with some college updates and a panel discussion. The Pittsburgh region has long been central on our national energy scene.  As we face an ever more challenging and dynamic energy future, the Pittsburgh area continues to lead the nation toward a balanced energy policy.  Join us to participate in a panel discussion with local experts and Bucknell professors on our energy future. The cost is $15 per person and includes hors d’oeuvres. Please RSVP by Monday, August 19th.
