ETCIC (Engineering & Technical Career and Internships Connection)

You must submit your resume by October 1, 2012 to be eligible to attend this event.

Thursday, October 25th

AMA Conference Center, New York, NY

9:00 am – 5:00 pm

* deadline: October 1st

This second annual off-campus recruiting event provides you with an opportunity to interview for entry-level jobs and internships with a variety of employers. It’s not your typical career fair — it’s a more intimate setting in which to discuss career opportunities and present your qualifications face-to-face!

Undergraduate and graduate students in any engineering discipline, as well as Computer Science and Physics, may apply for positions of interest by the October 1 deadline. Only students who are accepted for interviews may attend.

  2. Register for an account and fully complete your profile.
  3. Upload your resume(s), cover letter(s), and any other required documents, which you will use to apply to positions of interest. Hover over the “documents” tab and select “Upload a document”. Make sure your documents are in Microsoft Word, RTF or PDF format, and do not contain text in the header/footer.
  4. Search for positions using the Job or Internship search function.
  5. Apply for EACH position of interest. Click on a desired job/internship to take you to the full description. At the bottom of the page, there will be a button marked “Apply.” Click this button.
  6. Next you will select which uploaded documents to attach to your application. This screen will also let you know which documents you are missing. Once uploaded and the documents are selected, your application will be submitted.
  7. Your documents will be submitted to the employer(s) to review after the October 1 deadline; by applying for an ETCIC opportunity, you are committing to be present at the event in New York City should you be granted an interview.
  8. You will be notified via email in early October if you have been selected for an interview, and may sign up at that time.
