Wall Street Exchange Summer Program

Do you have a finance related internship in the NYC Metro Area this summer? Check out this great program that is designed to boost your summer Finance internship experience.

Applications are now being accepted for Financial Women’s Association (FWA) 2011 Wall Street Exchange Summer (WSE) Program which is celebrating its 35th year of helping young women and men navigate the competitive financial job market.

WSE is not an internship; it is a career development program designed to augment your summer internship experience; enhance your job search skills and think strategically about career choices during nine weekly events that will strengthen your skills and prepare you to execute a successful full-time job search in financial services and related fields.

Acceptance is competitive and you are encouraged not to wait to apply – even if you haven’t finalized your summer internship you should still apply! Applications are due May 6th

To qualify, you must have completed your junior year of college and have:

  • An interest in exploring a career in finance or business
  • A minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • A summer position in the New York City metropolitan area with a financial services firm or a financial position with a non-financial services company
