Why? Because the Externship Program exposes students to professions they are interested in: PRODUCER, DOCTOR, TEACHER, ENGINEER, SCIENTIST, BANKER, CONSULTANT, ETC and your answers in this survey will help give us (the CDC) an idea of the locations and industries you are interested for externships.
Externships are an amazing “Bucknell signature” program where we help connect students to alumni in a their field of interest for a a 1-2 day job shadow. You apply to this program in the Fall of your Sophomore year (that’s next year!) and participate in it over winter break. And you don’t want to miss out! How many of your friends get the opportunity to connect – with alumni – at their jobs – in a field you are interested in …as sophomores?!
