The CDC is hiring Peer Specialist for the 2010-2011 Academic Year

DO YOU WANT TO INTERACT WITH YOUR ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT AND ALUMNI FROM MAJOR?
Academic Peer Specialists- responsibilities include working as a student liaison to a specific Academic group and will be project driven in nature.
DO YOU WANT TO BE IN CONTACT WITH ALUMNI BASED ON LOCATION?
Club Peer Specialists- responsibilities include working as a student liaison to a specific Club and will be project driven in nature.
DO YOU ENJOY ANSWERING PHONES AND MANAGING SCHEDULES?
Administrative Peer Specialists- responsibilities include staffing the offices and appropriately handling foot, phone and e-mail traffic and office details. Must commit to 7-10 hours per week.
DO YOU WANT TO CRITQUE RESUMES?
Instructional Peer Specialists-responsibilities include staffing hours in the CDC for resume and cover letter reviews and working additional hours during high traffic times for resume services (before Expo, before externship deadline, etc.). Must commit to 7-10 hours per week.
ARE YOU INTERESTED IN LEARNING ABOUT INDUSTRIES AND CONNECTING ALUMNI AND STUDENTS?
Network Peer Specialists- responsibilities include working as a student liaison to a specific Professional group. Working with career services staff on messaging as well as fair and summit preparations will be additional responsibilities. Applicants for this position must meet the requirement of worked for AR/CDC for one semester OR completed an internship in the field they are representing.
