Introducing the Washington Media Scholars Program

mediascholarslogoThe Washington Media Scholars Program is a unique opportunity for college students to learn about the public policy advertising industry first hand from top media executives and strategists.

You can compete to earn your spot in the 2010 inaugural class of Washington Media Scholars, and win a trip to Washington, D.C. to contend for the National Excellence in Media Award and scholarship money for yourself and your school.

The first step to becoming a Washington Media Scholar is to enter our 2010 Case Competition. Finalists of the Case Competition will travel to Washington, D.C. for Media Scholars Week. The winning team will be announced at a Networking Reception to be held at the Newseum in the heart of our Nation’s Capital. For more information about this three-part program, please explore our website.

  • Starting January 4, 2010, you and your teammate can officially register to participate in the 2010 Case Competition. We recommend finding an academic advisor to help you out along the way.
  • On March 1, 2010, we will release all case materials to all registered teams.washington
  • Complete the case and submit it by close of business April 1, 2010. This is not a joke, any case received after April 1 will not be considered.
