SummerBRIDGE

It is never too early to start thinking about summer. I usually start pining for summer by August 31st and by the time the sun goes down on Labor Day I’m already nostalgic for the past summer and day dreaming for the future one to come. And while it’s raining, snowing or sleeting every Tuesday or Friday (seems to be the Lewisburg pattern) I sink into a hibernated depression and start to make plans to create a light at the end of the proverbial tunnel.

One thing to add to this day dream is the possibility of a fun summer job or internship. Don’t forget to check out the SummerBRIDGE for a list of all summer jobs and internships.

What is the SummerBRIDGE? Part of the BRIDGE which students can research a number of additional summer opportunities with employers interested in Bucknell students. The CDC enters and maintains the listings throughout the academic year. Typically, students apply directly to the employer in whatever way the employer indicates within their listing (mail, email, online). We also recommend that students follow up with the employers to inquire of the status of their applications.

There are 4 ways to search SummerBRIDGE for internships. Any of them will work. All are available on the home page once you log on. Your username is bison + BUID (i.e: bison1234567) and your password is bison.
