Real world advertising for students …

Twice a year The Martin Agency conducts a popular Student Workshop program for college students interested in pursuing a career in advertising. The Student Workshop is a 10-day program held at The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va. It is limited to 15 students and is held every June and January –the June workshop is scheduled for June 2-11, 2010 and the application is due April 9th. The Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic: A Personal Testimonial – Lisanna Gonzalez

Tuesday, March  30 @ 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. Coleman 120 Lisanna Gonzalez spent two years in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic (2004-2006).  Her presentation will share her experience working with two other Peace Corps volunteers in the community of Gualate located in the mountains of the Northern Province of Puerta Plata.  The focus of this work was on: bringing clean water to the community, improving public health, health education for women and youth (HIV/AIDS, STD’s), women’s self-esteem and empowerment, environmental sustainability, and creating a micro-credit bank. Senior Transitions – new series starts Monday
