Paid Local Labor Market Research Interns Needed ASAP!

The Central Pennsylvania Workforce Development Corporation (CPWDC) has an immediate need for one or two interns who could be available 10-15 hours per week. These are paid positions in our Lewisburg office. Ideally, we would prefer juniors or seniors who are majoring in economics, business, marketing or political science. The intern would be responsible for conducting routine labor market research (collecting baseline data from established data sources and designing templates for distributing the data) and assisting with other short-term research related projects. There is a possibility that these positions could be available during the spring academic term as well.

CPWDC is governed by the local Workforce Investment Board (WIB) of Central Pennsylvania. CPWDC is charged to ensure that workforce development services within its designated workforce investment area are established to support the labor and job training demands of industry. Through its partner services, CPWDC will attempt to streamline services for the area’s youth, job seekers and incumbents and dislocated workers to acquire skills and rewarding, sustainable jobs.
