Teaching in independent and private (K-12) schools can be an option for all students to consider. A biology major from Bucknell, Kelley Nicholson-Flynn ’91 received an MS from Johns Hopkins University in Interdisciplinary Science Studies, focusing on environmental science and cellular biology and a PhD in Cell, Developmental and Molecular Biology through a a joint program between Rutgers University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She has loved teaching and leading in independent schools and would like to share her experiences and advice with other students who may be considering such a path.
A light lunch will be provided.
