Have you ever dined at a formal affair, looked down at the table and wondered, Why are there so many forks?! Or, have you had trouble getting a conversation started at a professional networking event?
Crystal L. Bailey, Director of the Etiquette Institute of Washington, will answer these questions and more at the ninth annual “Wine, Dine, & Act Fine” senior etiquette dinner on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. All guests in attendance, including senior students, Bucknell staff and faculty, alumni, and community members, will learn the basics of proper dining etiquette as well as how to place an order, share dietary restrictions, and handle the check. Crystal will also discuss international foods, how to make a killer first impression, and “netiquette.”
“Wine, Dine, & Act Fine” will be held on October 9, 2013 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. in the ELC Terrace Room. A cocktail hour with wine and hors d’oevres will precede the four course meal. Registration will open promptly at 5:30 p.m.
Students should send their RSVP cards to the CDC or register via this form by October 1st. Please contact Leanne Aurich at Leanne.aurich@bucknell.edu or 570-577-7168 with questions.
