Fall Workshops:

  • Resumes for Engineers – Sept. 1 at Noon in Dana 117: Not just a general overview, at this workshop  we’ll spend time highlighting what employers look for on engineering resumes and go over how to highlight any research, technical tools or summer experience you may have
  • Resume and Cover Letter 101 – Sept. 7 at 5 pm in Taylor 203:  Leave this workshop with a resume in hand! Review resume and cover letter basics while working at a computer to type up the framework or updating an existing document. Counselors will be available after the workshop to answer questions.  All students with or without resumes/cover letters are encouraged to attend.

  • Job Search Strategies for ALL Majors – Sept. 15 at Noon in ELC Gallery Theatre: Do you know that every industry and organization recruits and hires at different times and in different ways?  Come learn about 3 job search strategies that you can use to be most effective in your job or internship search, particularly if your major is not obviously related to your intended career field and what resources you have at Bucknell that help you!
  • Graduate School Strategies – Sept. 22 at Noon in O’Leary 232: The CDC and the University Graduate School Advising Coordinator will provide current information and perspectives about the choice to go to graduate school, as well as share suggestions for making yourself a competitive applicant among the many
  • Career Decision Making – Oct. 3 at 5 in ELC 217: This workshop is a brief overview identifying the different pieces that go into the complex process of career decision making
