Codebreaking With World’s Foremost Authority (An Alum!)

Visit the National Cryptologic Museum with Dr. David Kahn ‘51, a historian of intelligence, particularly of communications intelligence, or code breaking, who is widely regarded as the world’s (or the planets!) leading expert on the history of codes and cryptology. This trip is being hosted by Dr. Sally Botsai ‘57, a member of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers (AFIO) who served in NSA, and represented the NSA in the White House Situation Room (the first NSA woman to do so).

Tuesday, March  30 @ 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. Coleman 120 Lisanna Gonzalez spent two years in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic (2004-2006).  Her presentation will share her experience working with two other Peace Corps volunteers in the community of Gualate located in the mountains of the Northern Province of Puerta Plata.  The focus of this work was on: bringing clean water to the community, improving public health, health education for women and youth (HIV/AIDS, STD’s), women’s self-esteem and empowerment, environmental sustainability, and creating a micro-credit bank.
