BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS TUTOR NEEDED

Volunteer needed to tutor individual with basic computer skills. Woman lives in Hartleton but would be willing to travel to Union County Public Library or other destination to learn. Please call Laurie at 570-922-4771.

SLIFER HOUSE MUSEUM NEEDS VOLUNTEERS FOR UPCOMING EVENTS

Girl Scout Tea Party
Saturday, April 10, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Activities include engaging Daisy scouts and Brownies in a variety of Victorian-themed activities (all instructions are included.) Dress-up and tea time follow with a parade around the house. Must enjoy young children.

May Day Spring Celebration Preparations
Flexible hours—whenever you’re free between now and April 30th
Help get the crafts in order for the family day. Mostly cutting paper into basket patterns!

May Day Spring Celebration
Saturday, May 1, from 12:30—3:30 pm
Assist with craft activities and a Maypole dance! Must enjoy working with children.

Victorian History Camp
Week of June 14—18
Need volunteer teachers for workshops. Call for details!

DALE ENGLE WALKER HOUSE AND HIKING TRAIL CLEAN-UP APRIL 10

A large group of volunteers is needed to help with clean-up of the grounds surrounding the historic Dale Engle Walker House and Dale’s Ridge Hiking Trail on Saturday April 10 from 9 am to Noon. http://www.unioncountyhistoricalsociety.org/EVENTS.html If interested in signing up please contact Poppy Goforth at psg008@bucknell.edu or 570-577-1292.

8th ANNUAL NEIGHBORHOOD THAW OUT!

Volunteer alongside hundreds of fellow Bucknellians as we give back to the local community by helping clean-up the Lewisburg boro and help downtown businesses with spring cleaning! All participants receive a free t-shirt!

Sign up as an individual or with your group (large or small) by MONDAY APRIL 5. Once you sign up we WILL match you with a service project and the service site will be depending on your help. There is lots to do!

The Neighborhood Thaw Out will be on FRIDAY, APRIL 16 from 3 to 5 pm.

ARTS FESTIVAL WEEKEND!

Volunteers needed to help with set-up, throughout the day, and/or clean-up for the Lewisburg Arts Festival on Saturday April 24. Set-up starts 8 am; clean-up starts at 5pm. If interested in volunteering please contact Poppy Goforth at psg008@bucknell.edu or 570-577-1292.

MIDDLECREEK AREA COMMUNITY CENTER LOCK-INS!

The MACC needs volunteers to help supervise games and activities for youth at their overnight Spring Lock-in from Friday April 23 at 6pm to Saturday April 24 at 8am. http://www.maccrec.org/index.php/upcoming-events-at-the-macc/details/56-lock-in . Another Locking will be hosted for younger children on Friday April 30 from 6 – 11 pm. Please sign up for either event by replying to this email. Transportation provided!

MILTON CULTURAL FESTIVAL MAY 8

Volunteers needed to help run games & activities, work at booths and tables, sell food items and other goods, etc…on Saturday May 8th from 8 am – close! Please contact Jessica Hess at jah018@bucknell.edu if interested in helping out!
