After graduating Bucknell in 2017, Austin worked at Goldman Sachs in its Technology, Media and Telecommunications, Investment Banking group. He spent two years at Goldman working on a variety of transactions ranging from sellside and buyside M&A to leveraged finance. While at Bucknell, Austin was a member of the FIJI fraternity and teaching assistant for Professor Gruver’s Investment Banking class. After two years at Goldman, he joined Cerberus Capital Management as an Associate in its Private Equity group. There he focuses on acquiring distressed companies across a variety of industries. He remains actively involved with Bucknell and recruiting in particular having taught a bi-weekly investment banking recruiting prep course last year.
