  • Amanda R. Gaynor ’02
    Law Clerk to the Honorable John E. Jones III, U.S.D.J., United States District Court
    Ms. Gaynor is currently working as a career Law Clerk to the Honorable John E. Jones III, United States District Court.  Following graduation from New York Law School, Ms. Gaynor accepted a position clerking with Judge Jones for two years.   She then decided to get experience at a law firm as a litigation associate and went to work as an associate with Troutman Sanders LLP, an international law firm with more than 650 attorneys. Following her time with Troutman Sanders, Ms. Gaynor decided to become a career law clerk.  One of the first cases she worked on in this position was the case that ruled that Pennsylvania’s 1996 ban on same-sex marriage was unconstitutional.

  • Lauren S. Rivera ’04
    Associate Vice Provost for Student Formation & Campus Life, and Dean of Students, University of Scranton
    Ms. Rivera is currently serving as Associate Vice Provost for Student Formation & Campus Life, and Dean of Students, at the University of Scranton.  Prior to transitioning into her current position, Dean Rivera served as the Director of Student Conduct & Assessment for the University of Scranton. After graduating from Bucknell University with a degree in Political Science and Religion, Ms. Rivera decided to get both a Masters in Education in Student Affairs and a Juris Doctor from Penn State, completing both in 2008 in order to transition into higher education.
  • David S. Robbins ’74, P’05, P’09
    Owner/Attorney, Law Office of David S. Robbins
    Mr. Robbins’s is the owner of the Law Office of David S. Robbins.  He is an attorney whose practice focuses on international energy and infrastructure project finance, mergers and acquisitions, and entrepreneurial emerging businesses.  After graduating from Bucknell with a degree in Japanese Studies and International Relations, Mr. Robbins earned his J.D. from George Washington School of Law.   He has been a partner in several law firms, including K&L Gates, DLA Piper (Tokyo office), Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliff, LLP, and White & Case.  He has represented clients from around the world and handled transactions in Asia, Latin America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Russia, China, India and of course, the U.S.
