BPN Coffee Hour with Paul Sturman ‘83, President, Pfizer Consumer Healthcare

pfizerJoin the Bucknell Professional Network for Coffee Hour on March 27th with Paul Sturman ‘83, President, Pfizer Consumer Healthcare (PCH) from 2 – 3pm in Taylor Lounge (1st Floor). Paul will be on campus to present in several courses and will provide some extra time to speak with students in a small group setting about his career, industry and Pfizer. Students are encouraged to walk in anytime during the hour, but registration is highly encouraged (you can register here).

Paul is responsible for all aspects of the PCH business unit’s global operations, including the development and marketing of major household brands. Paul transitioned to Pfizer from Wyeth Consumer Healthcare, where he joined in December 2008 as President, U.S. and Global Business Development, New Products.  Paul was previously part of Pfizer’s Consumer Healthcare Business prior to its sale to Johnson & Johnson. While at J&J he served as President, North America, Consumer Healthcare where he was responsible for overall business performance, financial results, strategy development and execution across four major product categories and more than 30 brands. Paul’s responsibilities also included Oral Care and Topical Health Global franchises and centers of excellence for Professional Sales and Marketing, and Market Research across the J&J U.S. Consumer Group. During his previous time at Pfizer, Paul led U.S. Marketing and directed the turnaround of Pfizer’s Canadian Consumer Healthcare business.  Paul joined Warner-Lambert (which was acquired by Pfizer in 2000) as an Assistant Brand Manager in 1984 and held positions of increasing responsibility in Marketing and Sales including Director, National Accounts, Vice President U.S. Chewing Gum, and Vice President, Global Category Management for Halls Cough Tablets. Paul earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Bucknell University.
