Please join us Saturday, February 18th from 1 – 6 p.m. in the Elaine Langone Center to welcome back distinguished Bucknell alumni who are returning to campus to share the knowledge and experience they have gained from a wide variety of leadership roles in the work place and in their communities. As part of Engineering Week (Feb. 20 – 24) we will be co-hosting a great student/alumni networking event on Friday, February 24th from 3:30 – 5:00 in Larison Dining Hall. Today it’s even easier to identify connections for networking. Let’s start with one word: LinkedIn. We have a Bucknell Alumni LinkedIn group that is growing every day and it’s a no brainer to start there. Apart from the group, LinkedIn (in general) is a great way to make connections and build your network but make sure you are doing it wisely! A second, and uniquely Bucknell way, to build your network is by participating in our Bucknell Professional Networks. Alumna Spotlight: Career Advice for the Sciences with Dr. Gina Conenello ’03, Ph.D.

This Monday,  November 7th at Noon in ELC Arches Lounge Dr. Gina Conenello ’03, Cell Biology/Biochemistry major, will share information about her career path. After graduating in 2003, Dr. Conenello received a New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Emerging Infectious Disease fellowship. She got her Ph.D. in 2009 in Biomedical Science from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine Graduate School. She is now a Commissioner’s Fellow at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
