Many students want to enhance their internships with additional career advice and networking or want to add an intellectual component to their summer without a large time commitment. The free, weeklong summer seminars, hosted by the Institute for Humane Studies, offer the opportunity to engage in thoughtful conversations this summer and explore current issues from many perspectives. The Scoville Fellowship is now accepting applications for the fall 2010 semester; All materials must arrive by January 22 at 5:00 PM EST. The Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship, established in 1987, is a competitive national fellowship program that provides college graduates with the opportunity to gain a Washington perspective on key issues of peace and security. Twice yearly, the Fellowship’s Board of Directors selects a group of outstanding individuals to spend six to nine months in Washington.
