On Wednesday, April 13th at 7pm in Trout Auditorium, Robert F. Wescott ’77 will be speaking about his experience developing economic policy for President Clinton. From 1999 until 2001, Robert F. Wescott ’77 served as Special Assistant to the President for Economic Policy at the White House. As the Senior International Economic Adviser to President Clinton, he helped develop administration policies toward G-7 countries, Russia, China, India, other key emerging-market economies and the international financial system. Washington Media Scholars Foundation – scholarship and networking opportunities

The Washington Media Scholars Foundation creates scholarship, learning and career advancement opportunities for college students interested in public policy media strategy, research and management. The organization coordinates three programs of varying intensity to carry out this mission: Media Scholars Program. Dell Thurmond Woodard Fellowship

The Dell Thurmond Woodard Fellowship, which includes one $5,000 grant for one student each year, is part of the Tisdale Fellowship program, a summer internship available to undergraduate and graduate students.  Any student, undergraduate or graduate, who is interested in diversity and ethics issues, and in learning about high-tech public policy issues, can apply for this Fellowship.
