Amazing summer opportunities await…Overland – or sea, or air!

Overland is hiring exceptional college students to lead their amazing summer programs which offer hiking, biking, service, environmental science, language and writing programs to students ages 11-18.. Overland staff of 130 leaders and support staff spend 10 days training and 6 weeks leading or supporting programs and they are looking for responsible, fun, dynamic students who love working with kids.

Local Volunteer/Community Service Opportunity

The Donald Heiter Community Center in Lewisburg needs volunteers to assist in the After-School Program for children and youth from 5 to 13 years of age. They need help with their homework assignments, games, arts and crafts. It’s only a couple of hours a week and a great opportunity to do some local community service. BPIP! No I did not hiccup…

Students who want to explore careers in the non-profit and government sectors have a great resource right here on campus: the Bucknell Public Interest Program (BPIP) and the BPIP Internship Fund. BPIP educates students about non-profit and public service careers, and helps students learn about how to find internships and jobs in these sectors. The BPIP Internship Fund provides financial support for undergraduate students (first-year students, sophomores, and juniors), who have secured full-time, unpaid summer internships with non-profit organization and government offices.
