Alum Returns for a talk on “Using environmental law to protect our rivers … Waterkeeper style.”

Eliza Smith Steinmeier ’94, Baltimore Harbor Waterkeeper ELC Gallery Theater at 3:00 – 4:30 PM on Wednesday, March 3rd. Eliza Smith Steinmeier, a 1994 Bucknell environmental studies graduate, is the environmental lawyer who organized the “Baltimore Harbor Waterkeeper.” She is now the Executive Director & Waterkeeper at Baltimore. She will speak on her experiences with that project on campus next Wednesday afternoon. The Baltimore Harbor Waterkeeper organization works to optimize the quality and usability of water resources in the corner of the Chesapeake ecosytem around Baltimore. Bucknell Finance Network (BFN) Field Trip in NYC – 2/18

On February 18th BFN will be hosting a day long event where we will be speaking with alumni and other professionals in various parts of the Finance industry such as Investment Banking, Private Wealth Management, Asset Management, Private Equity, and more. We will spend the morning (9 am -12 pm) at JPMorgan Chase and the afternoon (1 pm – 2:30 pm) at Goldman Sachs. The cost of the trip will be $10 per person to cover transportation by bus and lunch. First Night for First Years

I know what you are probably thinking…You’ve been here for more than 1 night at this point so why now? Well First Night is a celebration for each first-year class to mark the successful completion of their first semester and the beginning of their life-long journey as Bucknellians. In preparation for the event, each first-year class selects class colors and a motto and designs a class crest incorporating these symbols.
