The projects deemed the most promising will be chosen and funded with a $10,000 grant given by Kathryn Wasserman Davis, internationalist and philanthropist. I’d say that one of the only downsides to this job is learning about all the awesome opportunities out there that I am no longer eligible for. For instance: Princeton in Africa (PiAf), which offers yearlong fellowship opportunities with a variety of organizations that work across the African continent. PiAf Fellows work in service-oriented positions in many different fields, including humanitarian aid, public health, conservation, and education.
