As a Program Manager, Erin does a little of everything. She works with editors, project managers, sales representatives, digital strategists, marketing managers, designers, and more to see projects through from inception to publication — her role is a point person of sorts to bring together all other team members. She is also solely responsible for drafting program proposals, which include information such as development plans, sales projections, and budgets, so she needs to connect with pretty much everyone to create concrete plans. Her company’s newest wave of growth includes apps and exciting digital interpretations of their content that rely on learning design principles to enhance the education process. Erin will demonstrate some of the apps and platforms that they have been exploring. Bucknell Press staff and current interns will also be on hand to answer your questions.
Sponsored by the Bucknell University Press and Career Development Center.
