With the help of the CDC, Bucknell alumna, Monica Harrison has planned a “Minorities in Corporate America” panel & networking session on Wednesday, February 19th, 5:30 pm, in LC 213.
This student event is intended to create an open dialogue about minorities in the finance industry, but can be translated into minorities in all of corporate America. In effort to be a part of the solution to the age-old conversation around the importance of having a diverse talent population in financial services, the panel will be comprised of Bucknell alumni who work in financial services industry who will speak to their experiences in the industry. The topics discussed on the panel will range from common misconceptions, stereotypes, challenges, and successes of being a minority in the workplace.
