“[The real world] is a big change, more then you can ever imagine when you are sitting in the classroom thinking about the outside world!” — Anonymous business-school grad
For many of you, this time leading up to graduation and the start of a first job may seem chaotic and stressful. You are completing your Bucknell career without too much of a senioritis meltdown while dealing with the demands of job-hunting, interviewing, and facing the reality of the end of your time here. I point this out not to stress you out more but to let you know that IT IS NORMAL! And, of course, we’ve got a great program at the CDC to help you navigate this transition….
Senior Transitions is a program that is designed to help Seniors successfully prepare for the transition from Bucknell to the various alternatives after graduation. It is a 3-meeting program where you will discuss common senior experiences and how to determine focus, strategies and resources for the next step. Registration required on the BRIDGE by October 27 or by contacting Sarah Bell (sebell@bucknell.edu)
- DATE: Thursdays — October 29, November 5, November 12 (attend all three sessions)
- TIME: Noon – 1 p.m., Light refreshments provided
