This is a fun internship opportunity from an alum –
Interns wanted May 28-June 5, 2011 and possibly during the weeks preceding and following the event for logistical, marketing, and media preparation positions as part of the Trans-Sylvania Mountain Bike Epic. The duties will range widely from race course marking to scoring racers to generating and distributing race reports and related info to various media outlets during the week.
It is guaranteed to be an interesting and exciting experience, as the participants of the event span a wide cross section of the population and include some colorful personalities. This is an opportunity to see the inside production of a fundraiser event for a regional non-profit organization.
Positions can be tailored to some extent based on the interests and goals of the applicant. Positions may be paid or unpaid based on level of experience and commitment level.
