As of March 18th the Center for Career Advancement physical location is closed and all staff are working remotely until further notice. Like all of Bucknell, our office is committed to serving our students during this time of uncharted territory and we are prepared to provide many of our services remotely. Our career coaches, counselors and advisors are taking virtual appointments. To schedule an appointment please visit the Bridge or myBucknell.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work through this together.
There are many ways you can continue your job and internship search during this time.
The Bridge
Remember a vast majority of our engagement with employers occurs online already, so this is a great time to get on the Bridge to search for jobs, internships, or virtual career events.
We continue to work with employers recruiting Bucknellians. The Bridge will be regularly updated with available job and internship opportunities and, as we are able to, we will host recruiting-related events virtually
We encourage students to continue submitting applications for opportunities on the Bridge, through company websites and LinkedIn pages, and other sites offering internship and job postings.
Networking
At times like this it is also essential to spend time expanding and engaging with your professional networks – use LinkedIn (especially the Bucknell University page) and the Alumni directory found in BucknellConnect for your research.
If you need help adapting your career strategy or have any other questions or concerns, schedule an appointment with a career coach.
Career Resources
We subscribes to a number of valuable resources which are available only to Bucknellians. Login to myBucknell to access resources to help you learn about possible careers, explore different industries, and research and pursue full-time or internship positions with specific organizations.
