Mark Lindsay, a representative from the American Pavilion, will give a presentation on the organization’s student programs. Lindsay has over 30 years of experience in the film & television industry specializing in distribution, finance, marketing and sales.
The American Pavilion’s film & business programs allow every student his or her choice of internship placement and over 95% of students rate the program as having “exceeded expectations.” In addition to Film & Media students, the Cannes program also welcomes Business and International students. Whether on a creative track or a business track, participants choose their internship placement and are given the opportunity to work side-by-side with industry professionals. Candidates seeking a career in the entertainment business (marketing, sales, legal, distribution or public relations) can experience the inner workings of the global film industry through internships with companies participating such as Lionsgate, The Weinstein Company, IM Global, United Talent Agents and ICM.
Co-sponsored with the Film/Media Studies Program.
