We saw this in the Message Center and wanted to help share the information since we think this is a great workshop series.
The Counseling & Student Development Center (CSDC) has launched two new workshop series that are free and open to all Bucknell students.
The first series, called A College Student’s Guide to Freaking Out is offered on Tuesdays from 12-1 pm in Taylor 113. Topics include Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation, Distress Tolerance and Interpersonal Effectiveness.
The second series is focused on Anxiety and Stress Management and is scheduled on Thursdays from 12-1p m in Taylor 113. Session titles include The Paradox of Perfectionism, Stress Management Techniques, Thinking Gone Wrong, Stress and Appetite and Stress Isn’t Sexy. The workshops scheduled for next week are A College Student’s Guide to Freaking Out: Emotional Regulation on Tuesday, November 10th and The Paradox of Perfectionism on Thursday, November 12th.
