Going with our unstated theme this week of Employer Expo, Sophie ’16 is back with this weeks Peer Picks from 2 companies that will be here for it but have application deadlines before they will be here.

For those of you intending to go to the 2014 Employer Expo in Gerhard Fieldhouse from 11 AM – 2:30 PM, I have chosen two peer picks with employers that will be attending! Just as a reminder, even if you are an underclassman, do not hesitate to come check it out. I started my professional relationships at this very expo my freshman year and those connections truly paid off in the end. This annual expo kicks off our recruiting season and offers a wonderful opportunity to Bucknell students and alumni to meet with prospective employers and learn about their careers! There is no sign-up, and all majors are encouraged to go!
1. ExxonMobile Internships – Due Sept. 17
2.SEI Wealth Platform Developer Summer Internship- Due Sept. 18
ExxonMobil, a corporation dedicated to being the world’s premier petroleum and petrochemical company, is offering a paid internship for sophomores, juniors, and seniors who plan on going to graduate school and are majoring in chemical, civil, mechanical, electrical, computer engineering, or computer science. If energy, engineering, manufacturing, information systems, or physical sciences pique your interest, do not forget to apply – on the BRIDGE – by Wednesday, September 17th!
As for my second choice, I selected SEI Wealth Platform, who is looking for a developer summer intern! SEI is located in Oaks, Pennsylvania, and is a leading global provider of institutional and private client wealth management solutions, including asset management, investment processing, and investment operations. The program will aid to make you see how SEI helps professional wealth managers, institutional investors and private investors create and manage wealth, and enable their long-term success by providing solutions that are both comprehensive and innovative. Computer science and math majors with a 3.2 GPA or above can also apply through the BRIDGE by Thursday, September 18th!
