Peter, a management major at Bucknell, graduated in 2002 with a B.S in Business Administration before going on to get his M.B.A from Wake Forest in 2009. As Director of Strategic Consulting in CBRE’s Global Corporate Services (GCS), Peter Van Emburgh specializes in delivering corporate real estate solutions focused on portfolio optimization, strategic planning, organizational design, workplace strategies, and occupancy cost savings solutions to public sector clients. Recognized by the Wall Street Journal as “the world’s leading provider of services to Fortune 500 companies that own or lease property,” CBRE partners with over 300 private and public sector clients in all industries to ensure that global and local real estate strategy is aligned with business strategy.
Peter has over nine years of consulting experience in the private, public, and non-profit industries. His work with portfolio management focuses on the strategic transformation of multi-billion dollar real estate portfolios. Most recently, Peter has worked collaboratively with public sector clients in the formulation of portfolio optimization and cost containment strategies.
Prior to joining CBRE, Peter worked in the federal practice groups of PwC and Deloitte Consulting providing real estate advisory services to various public sector clients.
