Kappa Alpha Psi: Entrepreneurial Event with Alumni Speaker

The Xi Kappa Chapter, of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. alongside the Career Development Center at Bucknell University presents an entrepreneurial program under Kappa Alpha Psi’s national Greeks Learning About Deficit (G.L.A.D) initiative.

The event will take place in Walls Lounge, Tuesday, March 29th from 7:00-9:00pm
– From 7:00pm to 8:00pm students will have the opportunity to have their resumes revised by CDC staff.
– At 8:00pm Reverend Kirby Spivey III, in collaboration with James Adlam will be hosting an entrepreneurial workshop, in which they will voice their career successes as well as their methods of achievement. It is our hopes that students can come away from this program better educated and prepared for their professional lives.

Biography:

Rev. Spivey received his B.A. in Religion and Anthropology, with a minor in African-American Studies from Bucknell University. During his matriculation at Bucknell, he was a founding member of Bucknell’s gospel choir ‘Voices of PraIse,’ and was the recipient of the coveted Michael Edward Brawley Fellow. He continued his education at Princeton Theological Seminary, in Princeton, New Jersey where he received the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) as well as the Master of Theology (Th.M), both with honors.
